Mr. Kargl-Simard is a professional engineer with over 17 years of experience in the mining industry, having worked both in technical and finance roles, and is currently the President and CEO of Adventus Mining Corp. Prior to starting Adventus, he worked for 10 years in investment banking roles at Raymond James Ltd. and Haywood Securities Inc. During his tenure in investment banking, Christian was involved in financings raising more than $7 billion, and he assisted in completing over 35 M&A transactions. Mr. Kargl-Simard is a professional engineer (Canada) and holds a B.A.Sc. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Nilsson currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and director of Surge Copper, and as an independent director of Adventus Mining Corporation, an Ecuador-focused copper-gold exploration and development company. He previously worked for various Canadian and international investment banks, including Macquarie Group, Stifel Financial, and CIBC World Markets, advising on many high profile global mining M&A and capital markets transactions. Leif holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics and Exploration Geophysics from the University of Toronto and a Master in Finance from INSEAD.

Dr. Ebert has 26 years of gold, copper, and base metal exploration experience in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe. Dr. Ebert was involved in the discovery of a large copper deposit in Mexico (Bahuerachi Deposit), a gold deposit in eastern Canada (Viking), and a Cu-Au porphyry on the Ootsa Property (West Seel).  He has extensive experience managing junior exploration companies and is a registered professional geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Mr. Colterjohn has served as managing partner of Glencoban Capital Management Inc., a merchant banking firm, since 2002. He has over 25 years of involvement in the mining sector, as an investment banker, director and operator. Prior to co-founding Glencoban Capital, he served as a managing director at UBS Bunting Warburg from 1992 to 2002, where he was head of mining sector investment banking activities in Canada. In 2004, he founded Centenario Copper Corp. and served as the president and chief executive officer and a director until the sale of the company in 2009. Mr. Colterjohn has served on the boards of nine additional publicly traded mining companies, including: Canico Resource Corp., Cumberland Resources Ltd., Viceroy Exploration Ltd., Explorator Resources Ltd., Aurico Gold Inc., Aurico Metals Inc., Mag Silver Corp., Harte Gold Corp. and Roxgold Inc. Mr. Colterjohn holds a BComm from the University of Toronto and an MBA from IMD and is an accredited director.

Mr. Dorward has over 25 years of experience in the mining and finance industries. Mr. Dorward most recently served as president, chief executive officer and a director of Roxgold, leading the business for over eight years from the early resource stage through mine commissioning, five years of production growth, and several major finance and asset acquisition transactions, culminating in its acquisition by Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. Prior to Roxgold, Mr. Dorward held senior business development and finance roles at Fronteer Gold Inc., Mineral Deposits Ltd., Leviathan Resources Ltd. and MPI Mines Ltd. Mr. Dorward is currently a non-executive chair on the board of directors of Contact Gold Corp.

Mr Glazier has been involved in the mining and lumber industries for over 25 years. He has a wealth of experience in assisting publicly traded companies with their financial requirements. Mr. Glazier serves as the CEO of East Fraser Fiber Co Ltd. and previously served as a director of Brazauro Resources Corp.

Mr. Pettit has over 20 years of experience within the resources industry, actively specializing in compliance, corporate governance, finance and management. He has been a Director of Surge since 2003, and currently serves as a Director on the boards of five other junior resource companies.
